International, business-oriented and constantly introducing new services and opportunities, Simac Tanning Tech – the international exhibition of machinery and technology for the footwear, leather-goods and tanning industry – will welcome operators from all over the world for three days of meetings and business opportunities at Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre in Milan on 23-25 February 2016.
"After the success of Simac Tanning Tech 2015 in Milan, we [can be nothing but] optimistic," says Amilcare Baccini, CEO of Simac Tanning Tech. "The exhibition’s radical move [from Bologna] was welcomed by exhibitors and operators, as shown by last year’s figures, which we intend to replicate and further increase. We are already working to provide a unique and profitable business experience at the forthcoming edition by creating the optimum context for the immediate finalisation of business deals."
Exhibitors and visitors will also benefit from specially developed ad-hoc services. As well as free Wi-Fi in all the pavilions, visitors to the next event will be able to personalise their pavilion route in advance, thanks to ‘My Fair’, accessed via the event’s official website.
And, thanks to ICE, there will be a return of The Leather Square, where visitors, exhibitors and journalists can make contacts and network in a totally new exhibition experience featuring leather.
Bigger and better
Simac Tanning Tech 2016 will once again be a unique event on the world stage, and a special point of reference from which to see and directly experience the latest technology available.
The last event attracted thousands of visitors and from different countries, with a total of approximately 150 foreign delegates from Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Central/South America, who were able to preview technological innovations from 277 exhibitors spread over an area of 15,200m².
Building on the momentum for the future edition next year, organisers are already preparing for the numerous foreign delegations that make Simac Tanning Tech a truly international rendezvous, thanks to support from ICE and the Ministry of Economic Development.
"Simac Tanning Tech’s global approach favours and boosts the event’s business orientation thanks to direct encounters, also planned for 2016, and to relations forged over the years with leading international players," continues Baccini. "The exhibition offers a major opportunity for encounters, and the formalisation and conclusion of firm deals. This makes Simac Tanning Tech a must for companies that can display their very best technology, and operators who have an opportunity to preview the finest and latest market innovations – all in one place."
