Ireland’s Central Statistics Office reports that Ireland imported raw hides and skins worth e3.9 million in the first eight months of 2003, compared with e3.6 million in the same period the previous year. Irish exports of the same types of commodities were worth e57 million, compared with e62 million in the January to August period in 2002.
