Jody Stobbe was recently appointed as the new regulatory compliance manager at Buckman Laboratories. She will be responsible for maintaining Buckman’s hazardous material transportation compliance for the United States and ensuring environmental compliance for the Memphis plant at 1256 N McLean Blvd.
Stobbe joined Buckman Laboratories in 1991 as an assistant regulatory affairs specialist in which her chief responsibility was to maintain the material safety data sheets and labels. In 1992, Stobbe received the first of several promotions, this time to regulatory affairs specialist. In this new position she provided support to Buckman customers in regard to complicated regulatory issues. In 1996, Stobbe was again promoted to the position of senior regulatory affairs specialist, handling the administration of product registrations for industrial antimicrobials within federal and state regulatory requirements.
In 2001, Stobbe took the position of product registration specialist covering registrations of antimicrobial products for water treatment, papermaking, paint and coatings, formulating and leather industries for federal and state regulatory agencies. In 2003, Stobbe became senior regulatory specialist I. She continued in this capacity until her recent promotion to regulatory compliance manager.
