Latvia’s Central Statistical Bureau reports that Latvia exported livestock and livestock products worth US$4.5 million in the first two months of this year, compared with US$4.6 million in the same period in 2002. Livestock imports were worth US$15.2 million, as against US$13.9 million last year.

Exports of hides and skins and leather, were worth US$2.8 million, compared with US$1.9 million in the first two months of 2002. Imports of US$2.4 million compared with those worth US$1.5 million last year.
