In comparison, the average gross monthly wage in Poland in the January to April period was 11.9% higher year-on-year at US$1,415.
Ukraine’s State Statistics Committee reports that the average gross monthly wage in Ukraine’s leather industry in the first four months of this year was US$199, compared with US$155 in the same period in 2007. The average monthly industrial wage in Ukraine in the January to April period this year was US$388.
