Slovakia’s Statistical Office has reported that leather industry production in the Slovak Republic in the first nine months of this year was 16.6% higher than in the same period last year. Production in September was 29.2% higher year-on-year. In comparison, the annual increases in industrial output in the January to September period and in September were 5.4% and 9.7% respectively.
