Asia Pacific Leather Fair – Materials, Manufacturing and Technology, will be held from April 6-9, 2005, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over 91% of exhibitors who took part in the 2004 edition have already confirmed their presence at the 2005 edition. There will be 32 group pavilions from 19 countries including Brazil, China, France, Germany and the USA.
In response to continued growth in demand for upholstery leather in Asia, APLF will sponsor the 3rd Upholstery Leather Conference. The conference, organised by the SauerReport.com, Leather International and Rizzi Pellami, will take place on April 5, 2005.
This year’s edition of APLF will also include a new education programme entitled ‘APLF forum – manufacturing technology enhancement’, to provide manufacturers with information on the latest developments aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency. Seminar subjects will include technical innovations in materials, chemicals and dyes, anti-counterfeiting, shipping and logistics, supply chain management and CAD/CAM.
Other special events include the ‘Best of APLF’ awards, and the APLF trend forum providing buyers with the latest information on colours and styles.
