CM Tannery Machines previewed their new RAL/ PN combined sammying and setting machine which features innovative positioning of the rollers to ensure uniform pressure from the working roller across the whole leather surface. This occurs even when the drying pressure between the felt covered roller and transport rubber roller changes.
Thus, the machine is only equipped with one felt covered roller, making it highly suitable for whole hides or heavy leather.
The RAL/PN gives increased output and low running and maintenance costs. The position of the leather supporting cylinder allows for quick and easy feeding of hides and adjustment of distance between blade cylinder and rubber cylinder is achieved by a simple push-button device. The blade cylinder is equipped with an hydraulic device which avoids marking the leather. The stretching cylinder is independent and turns in the opposite direction to the leather feeding, with adjustable speed. The two sammying rollers have independent sammying pressures (pressure ranges from 0-25 tons) and adjustable feeding (up to 34m/min). The machine comes in working widths of 2,740, 3,040 and 3,240mm.
