Corilene UL is a new specific fatliquor recently introduced by Stahl International bv which has been developed for use in producing soft upholstery and garment leathers. It may be used in conjunction with Corilene AF and Corilene SSD, from Stahl’s Corilene CPF product line, using the ‘short float – short time’ process for improved productivity.
High levels of softness and fluffiness are imparted to the leather, helped by the rapid penetration properties of this emulsified blend of natural and synthetic oil. Leathers produced with Corilene UL will have a full handle and low density with improved tensile strength and more intense dyeing which results in darker, brighter shades of colour.
