Thema have evolved their continuous conveying and drying tunnel. The TH009 is able to dry crust leathers along a chain of five drying chambers. The patented system, known as thermo regulation, is able to check the humidity of the leather, rather than the air around the leather, and dry accordingly.
The thermo regulation drying system is completely automatic and the TH009 can adjust the required amount of heat needed to reduce the humidity of the leather by comparing the pre-determined setting with the actual reading.
Each of the five compartments gradually reduces the moisture content down to a level suitable for the next operation such as staking.
TH009 can be fitted to the ceiling of the tannery above the other machinery to save space. Each side or skin is placed on a hanger which revolves through the dryer automatically.
TH009 is ideal for drying and conveying sides or skins after vacuum drying.
