After preparation, the finish is applied by passing the leather through a special enclosure built to eliminate dust contamination while guaranteeing a healthy working environment for the operators. All of the equipment is supplied and certified by Thema System in order to proceed to the point where the finish is applied.
The first enclosure is built with insulated, smooth, sectional panels, with a special air flow system to pressurise the surroundings, filter the incoming air and keep the finish chemicals off the curtain coating machine. There is special overhead ducting, an air heating unit (thermo-ventilating unit) and an extractor fan.
The second, adjacent, enclosure is  connected by a sealed door and allows the correct curing process for the finish. The leather, once painted, is deposited on pieces of cardboard in the second enclosure before being conveyed to another enclosure where the finishing operation is completed.
In the second enclosure the humidity and temperature are controlled via an air heating unit (thermo-ventilating unit) with mixing chamber and probes placed in the inlet and outlet air ducting. The air flow crosses the leather in a longitudinal direction and the leather is placed horizontally on the trolleys.
Everything is monitored and managed by a PC and a touch-screen monitor.
