Recently Stahl’s Chief Executive Officer, Huub van Beijeren, opened Stahl’s new offices in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He said, ‘This new service centre supports Stahl’s vision of providing service and support to customers on a local level.’
Technicians in Dhaka will be supported by their colleagues from Stahl Europe and Stahl India and by Stahl’s global team. They will be able to respond quickly to customer enquiries and provide on-site support and training drawing on international experience.
With similar growth being seen in Ethiopia, Stahl works closely with local authorities and the Ethiopian leather industry to support this growth. Recent changes in supply chains for global shoe brands have encouraged Stahl to maintain its promise of providing support close to its customers. A technical support centre is currently being prepared in Akaki Kality, a sub-city approximately 20 km south of the capital Addis Ababa. It is expected to be fully operational towards the end of 2012.
