Strojosvit F CZ, the Czech Republic’s only manufacturer and exporter of tanning machinery, broke even on sales worth Kc75 million (US$1 = Kc33) in the first half of this year, according to the CTK news agency’s Business News. In the same period last year, the company recorded a loss worth Kc20 million on the same level of sales. The improved results this year are attributed by the company to the introduction of cost-cutting measures.
