The organisers say that this year will see more innovation, integration and design from machinery makers as they aim to improve the automation of leather making. As well as tannery machinery, Tanning Tech also hosts a number of leather chemical makers, particularly from Italy. It is anticipated that exhibitors at this year’s event will opt for larger stands and will return to exhibiting more equipment, accessories and fashion leathers using new chemical technologies.
Running alongside Tanning Tech will be Simac, the footwear and leathergoods machinery show, which is also organised by Assomac. All three fairs take place at the Bologna Fiera.
