Due to overwhelming demand the Leather Research Laboratory has scheduled a third Leather Orientation Course this year for May 16 – 18. The two other courses, already in place, are March 14-16 and October 3-5. The seminar will be held at the University of Cincinnati and is designed specifically for professionals involved in leather purchasing, quality control or products design as well as newer tannery employees.
The course is designed specifically for the leather buyer, the individual responsible for sourcing the leather for manufacturing into products such as garments and shoes. Registration cost is $850 and a course agenda and registration can be found on-line at: [http://www.leatherusa.org] or contact Dr Nicholas Cory at +1 513 242 6300.
