Rakesh Suri, chairman, footwear panel. Mohammad Iftekhar, chairman, saddlery panel. The executive committee consists of S M Shahid, Iqbal Akhtar and Mohammad Ishaq.
After the AGM proceedings, senior scientists (environment) of the Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, Dr Ravindra Nath, Dr Swatanra Rajan and Dr A Garg, addressed the members and explained about present environment norms and possibilities for laying down a new sewer line at Jajmau and the expansion and modification of the CETPs installed at Jajmau, Unnao and Banthar leather clusters.
