Innova Ltd produce plants with semi-permeable membranes for reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultra and microfiltration. The main uses are:

* Production of deionised water by reverse osmosis

* Desalination of brackish water and seawater

* Recovery and recycling of wastewater

* Ultrafiltration and microfiltration for a large variety of industrial uses

In the wastewater recycling sector, Innova have provided some significant plants for recycling wastewater, often chemico/physical plants or biological plants, because such waters may be outside admissible limits and are highly expensive to dispose of.

Reverse osmosis allows the recycling of up to 80-90% of wastewater which would otherwise be lost and it costs much less than disposal.

In other cases, where the purified wastewater is within admissible limits for the sewer and where the on-site water supply is insufficient for the industrial need, the wastewater may not be pure enough for recycling.

In such cases, reverse osmosis will further purify the water so that it can be re-used.
