Following a meeting of the AFLAI (African Federation of Leather and Allied Industries) committee at Tanning Tech, held in Bologna in last October, the committee gave its full backing to the next edition of the Meet In Africa event. The fourth edition of Meet in Africa, the biennial African leather and allied industries show, will take place from 6 to 9 October 2004 in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia.
The fair is intended to contribute to the emergence of a business network in the African leather industry and African entrepreneurs for the leather sector. The event aims to build relationships with their international partners, in particular from Europe.
The event will consist of a trade fair from 7 to 9 October 2004, open to all industry professionals, African and non African, involved in the leather sector: raw materials, finished and semi-finished leathers, finished products, chemicals, machines, components and accessories.
Buyer/seller and partnership meetings are also scheduled from 7 to 9 October (16:00 – 18:30).
