ACLE predicted to break last year's record

ACLE is expected to attract over 1,000 exhibitors who will showcase a wide spectrum of raw materials (including hides, skins and exotic leather), semi-finished and finished leather, man-made leather, process chemicals and dyes, tanning machinery, components and accessories, synthetic/natural materials, shoe machinery, CAD-CAM systems, etc. The Domestic Halls will grow to include 200 more stands than last year, reflecting a 50% increase in the synthetic leather sector. Overall, the semi-finished and finished leather sector is so far the largest, occupying 29.9% of the total exhibition space, followed by the chemical sector, occupying 24.5%. CIFF and Moda Shanghai are, as in previous years, held concurrently with ACLE. Footwear, leather garments, handbags and leathergoods, travelware and fashion accessories from mainland China but also Belgium, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea will be displayed. Several famous brands such as Aokang, Senda, Belle, Harson, Kangnai, Fuguiniao, Hengda and Duoerkang will actively participate by displaying their new collections. Leading footwear manufacturing and leather processing bases in China such as Baigou, Tongxiang, Huidong, Wuhou, Xinji, Haining, Wenling and Bishan will promote their production capabilities and specificities. As in previous years, 2007 ACLE, CIFF and Moda Shanghai will play host to several informative seminars. CTC, Dow Chemical and Takatori will introduce their new products through seminars held during the fair. The 'Environment Friendly Supplies Conference' on the second day will further promote the cooperation and exchange between the tanning and tanning chemical industries in China and Brazil. The conference is supported by APEX, the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency in Brazil, and organised by the Association of Brazilian Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Related Goods (ASSINTECAL), Chinese Leather Industry Association (CLIA) and APLF Limited (APLF). In Hall W5, fashion shows from Aokang, Dongming, Saturday, Hengda, Conwood, Lishen, Hongping and Kangnai will showcase the latest trends in China. Organised by APLF Limited and the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), All China Leather Fair (ACLE), China International Footwear Fair (CIFF) and Moda Shanghai will be held from 5-7 September 2007 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong, Shanghai.
