Shoe manufacturers Alpina are to purchase a 67% stake in Bosnian-based Farika obuce I galanterije (FOGS). The contract between Alpina and the Sarajevo-based shoe factory will see Alpina invest 170 million tolars in FOGS premises over seven years. Employing 305 workers, FOGS are seen as the most successful and modern Bosnian shoe manufacturer. They have the capacity to manufacture up to 360,000 pairs of shoes annually.
