Ayakkabi Summer 2006 success

The major footwear event in Türkiye AYAKKABI SUMMER 2006, the 19th Izmir Shoes, Bags and Accessories Fair, which was organised by Izmir Fair Services, ended with a satisfactory and pleasant result for both exhibitors and visitors. 12,149 trade professionals from 17 countries visited the event held from February 16-19. AYAKKABI SUMMER 2006 was organised with the support of Turkish General Shoemakers' Federation, Izmir Shoes Manufacturers' Chamber and Aegean Shoes Industrialists' Association with the participation of 198 domestic and foreign companies presenting their summer collections including shoes for men, women and children, sport shoes, slippers, sandals, bags, suitcases, purses and belts. AYAKKABI SUMMER 2006, which was held in an area of 10.533 sq m, was open for only trade visitors from all around the world. During the event, exhibitors had a chance to make business contacts with 12,149 trade visitors from Austria, Bulgaria, England, France, Germany, Greece, Iraq, Israel, Italy, New Guinea, Switzerland, Syria, Tajikistan, the Netherlands, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, USA and Türkiye. The next edition of the AYAKKABI Fair, AYAKKABI WINTER 2006 will be held between July 13-16, 2006, in International Izmir Fair Center.
