Specialty chemical company Clariant hosted the ModEurop workshop on colours for autumn/winter 2012/13 at its premises in Leinfelden on May 2 and 3, 2011. The workshop was open to all members of ModEurop and was attended by a broad spectrum, from tanners, designers and shoe manufacturers to retailers working in the shoe, bag and leather industries.
The occasion also presented an opportunity for members of the ModEurop Color Club to review the forecasts for the Spring/Summer 2012 seasons, released to the leather, accessory and footwear sectors of fashion industry six months ago, and how they had been received by the wider apparel industry. The presentation was led by the international fashion trend consultant Marga Indra-Heide.
