Demand for technical expertise continues11 March 2009
In a year when less consumer demand caused production across the world to fall, actual interest from manufacturers for SATRA's technical expertise rose compared with 2007. According to SATRA, in 2008, they attracted their highest ever level of membership subscription income.

SATRA is one of the leading authorities dealing with the technical aspects of a wide range of consumer products, as well as international legislation and testing. Many of its test methods become industry standards.
SATRA state that they will be increasing their research and development activities in 2009 in order to continue to provide the very best technical support and advice to help maintain and improve business for its members in a difficult period.
