DyStar to grow leather business
19 April 2010Since the acquisition of the DyStar Group and its German assets by India based Kiri Dyes & Chemicals Ltd on February 3, DyStar has made major progress. Steve Barron, CEO DyStar comments: ‘We are pleased with the speed of implementation of essential measures such as negotiation and signing of important contracts with our suppliers, service and financial partners.’
In the meantime, the production sites Leverkusen and Brunsbüttel are fully operational. DyStar’s Indigo plant in Ludwigshafen and the other international sites keep on working without any constrictions. Textile and leather chemicals previously made in Geretsried have been transferred to other production sites.
According to DyStar, the company is committed to grow further and to remain the leading supplier of colours and effect chemicals for the textile industry, while growing its presence in colours and chemicals for leather.
