The new laboratory will be created to provide their customers with better services and innovations. Engaged in the leather industry since 1994, Toprak Kimya are also looking towards the international markets. 'We captured some share in the Chinese market by acting in conjunction with the Arc-en-Ciel. We are in contact with various Iranian, Russian and Indian leather markets', said a company official Cetin Toprak, explaining that they had been targeting foreign markets. Company official Cetin Toprak comments on the company's sales: 'In spite of a decrease especially in nappa production this year, our company increased their sales. The reason for this is that we have adapted our chemical products to provide a technical service and to the conditions of each specific region, as well as newly developing our facilities.'
