Finilux back on track

13 November 2001

After two reorganisations in the past twelve months, Finilux Leather Finishing (formerly Scil Leather Finishing) have reached their final form and structure. During the summer, machinery from Fintech Leather Finishing from Rijen has been moved to the 70,000 sq ft site in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, to be added to Finilux's existing equipment. The two companies, both members of the Wendel Leather Group, will trade under the name Finilux, a contract finisher for automotive, furniture, footwear and leathergoods leathers. With their ISO 9001 certified system and their comprehensive equipment, Finilux now have the capacity to produce approximately 2,500 hides per day. The new management team is formed by Hans Wendel as managing director and Kees van der Eerden and Rene van Dongen as technical directors.
