Global Leather opt for Las Vegas

15 October 2001

Following the success of their joining the important WSA shoe show in Las Vegas in August, Global Leather have decided to repeat the venture at the next WSA in February 2002. 'FIA is committed to providing the industry with an active trade show forum in the United States', Richard Larochelle, chairman of the Global Leather Advisory Committee, president of Irving Tanning and the FIA division's vice chairman, said. 'Holding Global Leather in Las Vegas and in conjunction with WSA offers the best opportunities for our members and the industry at large.' Global Leather will take place from February 11-12, 2002, to coincide with the second and third days of the WSA show. The FIA board has also decided that FIA will not return to the Pan American Leather Fair, but should concentrate their efforts on Global Leather in Las Vegas.
