Hungary sees Medina-Z open facility

The Medina-Z furniture producer will shortly begin the production of leather furniture at a factory in Dombovar in Hungary, according to the Interfax news agency. A total of 50 people will work at the new 'leather plant' at the factory. Hungary's Central Statistical Office reports that Hungary imported leather and leather products worth US$69.4 million in the first quarter of this year, a year-on-year decrease of 13.3%. Hungarian exports of the same types of commodities in the January to March period were 12.5% higher year-on-year at $36.1 million.
