ICA leap ahead with Icadata

10 January 2001

Colour forecasts for the fashion and interiors industries are now published in new multidimensional packages by the International Colour Authority (ICA). They are now available for womenswear, menswear, leather fashion, interior textiles and carpets/rugs in a new flexible format. The newly designed package comprises wall charts incorporating inspirational designs and lacquered colour chips as a reference to each colour palatte. There is also a complete set of the colours made up into large 'fan-decks.' These supplement the mini pocket editions which are also included. For the first time, subscribers to the ICA colour forecasts will be sent online global news as it happens, covering technical information and design development as well as style and colour trends. Subscribers can also order the following add-on services: * ICAdata CD-ROM containing all the forecast colours: it is invaluable when using CAD-CAM with colour calibration to provide colour images on monitors and printers * ICAdata tracking and updating online report. All the forecast colours are continuously tracked in the world's fashion capitals, analysed and emailed to subscribers once a month * ICA seal of approval. This advisory service will appraise subscribers' commercial colour ranges on request. The ICA seal of approval, if awarded, can be used by companies on their promotional literature. ICA are the first textiles and fashion colour service to be published each season and are universally recognised for their consistent accuracy.
