Latvian leather foreign trade

Latvia's Central Statistical Bureau reports that Latvia exported raw livestock hides and skins, and leather, worth US$10.2 million, in the first five months of this year, compared with US$6.16 million in the same period last year. Latvian imports of the same types of commodities in the January to May period were worth US$10.4 million, against US$5.33 million in the corresponding period in 2002.
