Le cuir a Paris joins with Premiere Vision

12 January 2005

In September 2005, from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23, Le Cuir A Paris will move to the exhibition park of Paris Nord Villepinte on the same dates as other fairs grouped together under the label 'Paris Pole Mode' (Premier Vision, Expofil, Mod'Amont and Indigo). By welcoming Le Cuir A Paris, Paris Pole Mode brings together a unique and complementary range of leathers, fabrics, yarns, accessories, threads, designs aimed at the fashion sector as a whole as well as the home/design sectors. This synergy will enable the exhibitors of Le Cuir A Paris, amongst other things, to significantly increase the number of potential visitors, particularly from the international arena. Currently, more than 40,000 professionals from all over the world visit the Paris Pole Mode fairs twice a year. Béatrice Rousseau, show manager, explains that the move 'is the result of the breakdown of barriers between the textile and leather sectors as well as of an evident complementarity present in all the fashion and design collections.' She goes on to say that the integration of Le Cuir A Paris in Paris Pole Mode should benefit all participants in the fairs which take place on the same dates and at the same venue, offering new sources of inspiration and creation. Le Cuir A Paris remains essentially the same, offering raw, semi finished and finished leathers consisting of exotic leathers and furs, all finished leathers, substitute materials, components, chemical and finishing products, natural and artificial textiles, technology and services for the leather sector, leathergoods, shoes, clothing and furnishing. Before that, however, the next edition, due to be held from March 9-10, 2005, will be held in Hall 6 of Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, as before.
