Le Cuir A Paris: Leather spiced by the Italians

5 May 2006

The next edition of Le Cuir A Paris to be held next 19-22 September looks to be very positive. All factors seem to show that the commercial objectives set by the organisers will be achieved - an increase of 8% in comparison with September 2005. To this date, 218 companies from 18 different countries have already registered. All the exhibitors from September 2005 as well as the companies that registered for the first time in last February's edition have confirmed their participation in the next Le Cuir A Paris. Five national pavilions will be represented: Brazil, France, Spain, Pakistan and USA. Both French and Spanish pavilions will be reinforced with the arrival of brand new participants. The tanners from the Graulhet region: Mégisserie Loubat, Sarl MDM, Ets Lieutard Didier for France and Acabats Especials Vic Sa, Curtidos Gregori Sa and Curtidos Pinto Sa for Spain. For this autumn's edition, the Italian presence will also be stronger than ever with, most particularly, the participation of the Toscan Association of Tanners. Famous Italian tanneries such as CFT Crespi, Conceria Jolly, Fraschini Brenta and Target, Centrorettili and Conceria Arno are among the companies that will be exhibiting for the very first time in Le Cuir A Paris. Moreover, all the Italian companies present in last February's edition will be renewing their participation next September: Conceria Stefania, Montebello, Bello, Romana, Del Chienti, Di Urgnano, Italhide, Free Time, Marbella Pellami amongst others. Finally, it is to be noted the significant presence of the fur sector with the big European names in fur such as Yves SALOMON (France) and Saga Furs of Scandinavia (Denmark) who will be coming back to Le Cuir A Paris after a period of absence to present their winter 07/08 collections.
