New generation of high-tech stuccos

Ongoing research and the constant creation of new ways and methods for efficient leather upgrading, has led to Clariant's: Product Line Finishing launch of an innovative range of stuccos. Adapted to modern application methods and for a wide range of articles, they represent a major step forward for a rational solution of a finisher's daily problems. Melio Stucco RN-01 and RN-02 are two products for reverse rollercoater applications. When used for filling up grain damage on hides or sides. They provide excellent application behaviour and buffability, together with their high upgrading properties. Melio Stucco VR-01 and VS-01 are stuccos for rollercoater and spray applications respectively. Ideal for filling up medium-deep grain damage. A crucial advantage is non-requirement of a buffing step after application, allowing a continuous finishing process. Melio Stucco VPR-01 and VPS-01 are similar to the stuccos mentioned above in terms of application and cover light-medium damage coverage. The main innovation with these products are the final polishability on the leather. There is also no need for buffing after application. With Melio Stucco MA-01, Clariant present a new, soft stucco for hand spatula application. This product has been designed to be applied to supersoft upholstery leathers which are highly demanded by modern finishers. Also in the future, Clariant will continue to closely monitor and create new technologies for adding value to the surface of this unique material.
