Sarchem expand production

Turkish leather finish chemical specialists, Sarchem will be celebrating 15 years in business this year and have recently expanded their R&D and production facilities at their headquarters in Tuzla. Capacity will increase by 20% after the recent investment.


‘Last year we completely renewed our R&D facilities and expanded production to manufacture polyurethane and polyacrylate products’, Ömer Sarialemdaroglu, director told Leather International. ‘Despite the recession we actually managed to increase our turnover in 2009’, he added.
Sarchem are the largest privately owned Turkish finishing chemical producer with exports to 23 countries worldwide. They also have an office in China and in 2010 are looking to establish regional offices in Thailand and somewhere, to be confirmed, in South America.
