TFL deepen shade with reduced formaldehyde

10 July 2008

TFL have introduced a new shade deepening agent with reduced formaldehyde content. Dyeing of leather is one of the most challenging tasks within the leather making process and the use of dyeing auxiliaries contributes significantly to achieving the best results, often with reduced dyeing costs.

TFL's shade-deepening auxiliary Invaderm S has been well known in the market for many years and it has now been redesigned and even further improved. Invaderm SN is a shade deepening agent supporting brilliant and intense shades with very good dye uniformity and reduced dyestuff consumption. The product has a high tolerance for anionic dyes in the float and does not precipitate them. Due to its low formaldehyde content Invaderm SN is particularly suitable for leathers where formaldehyde is an issue.
