Emag AG have developed a website that highlights their trade with the industry. The company were established in 1932 by Emil J Zehnder and three partners, as a trading company for hides and skins with subsidiaries in the Swiss towns of Lausanne and St Maurice. Today they are a major raw materials and part processed leather company. The site, to be found at [http://www.emag.ch], is divided into six sections: - About Us: - Reports: which is a very useful section which gives details of the market conditions for the areas Emag are associated with - Products: which lists the hides and skins available to the buyers and this is linked to an order form that can be filled in on page and sent electronically to the company; - A search facility: which allows the surfer the opportunity to search for the type of raw material or leather they want - Contact details: Emag market Richmond Ltd's, New Zealand wet-blue and crust bovine hides, pickled, wet-blue and crust lamb and sheep, wet-salted calfskins, pickled and wet-blue deer and goatskins. And, after having traded in African hides and skins for many years, they also established Uneek. This company collects raw hides and skins in Uganda and co-ordinates the purchase of raw, wet-salted, air-dried, pickled and wet-blue hides and skins. Over the years, affiliated companies have been established in the Far East, East Africa and South America in order to guarantee customers the efficient service they have been used to. The site highlights all of these and should make trading with Emag simple.
