9 March 2010The Corium club an alumni of past and present students from the British School of Leather Technology in Northampton, UK will be hosting three social events in March and April in Northampton, Hong Kong and in Scotland. Details are as follows:
Northampton Corium Club dinner
We are pleased to invite Corium alumni and friends to join us at the annual Corium Club dinner celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Corium Club. The event will take place on 19 March 2010 at 19:30, at Felix Yu, 23 Castilian Street, Northampton, NN1 1JS. This informal evening reunion includes a set menu of Mixed Hors D’oeuvres, the ever popular crispy duck, a selection of main dishes and costs £29 per person. Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF), Hong Kong Corium Club reunion
The APLF (Hong Kong) Corium Club Reunion takes place at 1800 hours on Monday March 29. This year the reunion takes place as part of the APLF cocktail reception where we will have a dedicated area within the Grand Hall Foyer. Those who already have invitations to the APLF cocktail reception, please use these. For those who require an invitation email lynn.margetts@northampton.ac.uk, or visit the BSLT stand at APLF during the day on Monday 29 March.

Corium reception, Scotland
On Thursday April 15, for the first corium event and whisky tasting in Scotland will take place. Hosted by the Scottish Leather Group (SLG) the event will be held at the Bridge of Weir Tannery from 5.30pm onwards and will include a whisky tasting by The Edrington Group – makers of the Famous Grouse, MacCallan. For those who may wish to have dinner, this has been arranged at the nearby Bowfield Hotel.
