The half-day conference will take place at the five-star Kerry Hotel in the Pudong district of Shanghai during the afternoon of Monday, September 5. The hotel (part of the Shangri-La Group) is conveniently located next to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), which will host the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) from September 6-8.

The conference is organised by Leather International magazine and is aimed upholstery tanners that have an interest in developing their business in Asia, particularly China. The event will have a strong focus on automotive upholstery leather as well as furniture, aviation and nautical leathers.

‘We are delighted that a prestigious international brand such as Audi have decided to present at our event. It underlines how important the Asian market is for the major automotive and furniture brands where leather upholstery is highly specified and the market continues to grow,’ says Jeremy Skinner, Sales Manager, Leather International.

The ‘Upholstery Leather in Asia’ conference is sponsored by BASF and National Beef Leathers. For delegate prices and more information contact Jeremy Skinner – jskinner@leathermag.com
