Giovanni Gaia receives Award

Giovanni Gaia, chairman of Atom Spa, was presented with the ‘China Award,’ on November 27. The award is presented by Milano Finanza newspaper and by the ‘Italy China Foundation’, presided by Cesare Romiti. Gaia, who was chairman of Assomac 2003 - 2007, received recognition in the category ‘Creators of value in the industrial clusters and sectors.’ Other leather sector enterprises which received awards include: Geox and Fornarina (footwear), Ferragamo (leathergoods), Gruppo Mastrotto and Eco Leather (leathers).
