Israel’s Central Statistics Bureau reports that Israel exported raw hides and skins, and leather and leather products, worth US$8.3 million in the first half of this year, as compared with US$5.9 million in the same period last year. Israeli imports of the same types of commodities in the January to June period were worth US$46 million, as against US$37.2 million in the same period in 2004.
