Over an area of 3,100 sq ft the new premises house sixteen employees from the Functional Chemicals, Material Protection Products, Basic Chemicals and Rhein Chemie business units along with the Finance and Accounting group.
In addition to its head office in Newbury, LANXESS also has a production site in Branston near Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire, 120 miles to the north where 48 people are employed in the manufacture of inorganic pigments used, for example, to colour paving stones, roofing tiles and concrete slabs.
The company is represented at 47 production sites worldwide.
LANXESS establishes new UK headquarters
LANXESS Ltd, British subsidiary of German specialty chemicals group LANXESS AG, has moved its head office to new premises in Newbury. ‘The office space in our new location is ideal for our needs in terms of size and function. It gives us an outstanding base for efficiently managing our business,’ said Kim O’Connor, managing director of LANXESS.
