MIDNIGHT IN THE ZOO by PURNAMA

Balinese garment and accessories brand Purnama presented their first collection, for autumn/winter 2008, at the recent edition of AltaRoma. Designer Mega Purnama finds inspiration in traditional Balinese legend and the island of Bali, where she was born. After initial studies at the Chinese Academy of Art, she completed her studies at the European Institute of Design in Rome in 2007, and quickly gained various prizes in fashion designing.Purnama believes that expensive accessories do not show off their richness and uses delicate cavallino, precious crocodile, luxurious python and soft nappa, and interlaces them with handles made of cord or chain.
