Monte Urano, 28^th September 2022 – Once again great to be back at Simac and see so many familiar and new faces in Milan last week. The Elitron new gems certainly attracted a lot of attention with the newest multi-cutting compact Spark F cutting system really stealing the show!

Although the fair itself may not have been as busy as years gone by, the quality of the visitors and their intentions made it all very worthwhile for Elitron and fired us with market vision for future innovation.

The compact Spark cutting system, comes in two formats, with either a fixed tabletop of 800 x 1600 mm or a conveyor tabletop of 1900 x 1600 mm ideal for precision cutting of both prototypes and production jobs. For multi-function cutting, the 5-tool Cutting Head and the intelligent Video Projection System for immediate prototyping make this system a truly flexible, compact cutting masterpiece.

In addition, the NEW Visio acquisition table attracted both existing Elitron clients, as well as new. Watching the off-line, automatic nesting process using Elitron’s proprietary, optimized Opera nesting software drew the crowds as this fully automatic process demonstrated in real time the maximum material yield possible, with waste material kept to a bare minimum.

Visio converts the entire leather hide into a high precision digital file. LED lighting illuminates the entire working area to facilitate the recognition of quality areas on the hides, and the Elitron Digital Infrared (EDI) pen allows the operator to grade holes or marks on the leather hide but without marking the leather at all! No more having to check the screen continually, the digital marks are clearly visible and cleverly colour-coded directly on the leather. Not only does this save time but it’s also far more ergonomic and practical for the operator.

Elitron’s best-selling Booster cutting system continued to raise eyebrows, as it’s been further upgraded and now comes with the most advanced recognition technology for printed materials and leather.

The new Seeker System vision technology is a sophisticated camera and software system that automatically identifies the position of printed reference points and uses these to synchronize the cutting path of the printed images for extreme cutting precision.

In addition to the above systems visitors also had the chance to see Kudos, the innovative conveyor cutting system for leather and synthetic roll materials, with 2 cutting heads: Kudos ensures reliability, quality, and productivity. A truly "open" system: able to interface with all CAD systems available in the market, and able to guarantee maximum flexibility even in highly critical situations.
