22 December 2017

Specialty chemicals company LANXESS globally raises the prices for sodium dichromate by up to 20% with immediate effect.

Increasing operational costs combined with an ongoing high demand for re-investments in the maintenance of its assets make this step unavoidable. It is aiming to ensure the long term supply security for its customers.

Sodium dichromate is an intermediate which is processed to chrome specialties, predominantly chrome tanning salts for use in tanneries worldwide.
