The initiate courses are expected to begin in the upcoming financial year. The academy will host programs to teach designing, cutting and stitching with a timeline of 6 months to 2 years.

Formerly known as the 'Manchester of the East', Kanpur has a rich history and is famous for its leather and textile products. Sadly, marred by destructive activities during the British rule and post-independence negligence, the city has lost its reputation. The authorities are eager to restore Kanpur to its former glory.
