The central bank of Norway, Norges, has acquired a 3.1% stake in the British online fashion retailer Boohoo, according to documents filed with the London Stock Exchange. Following the acquisition, the bank has become the fifth largest institutional investor in the retailer. Mahmud Kamani, co-founder of Boohoo, continues to be its largest shareholder.

Franklin Templeton Institutional and Artisan Partners are some of the other large shareholders of the fashion retailer. Boohoo is a leading online fashion group, home to a portfolio of pure-play fashion brands, servicing fashion-conscious consumers globally. It had reported a 20% revenue growth to £975.9 million in the first half of FY22 that ended on August 31, 2021, compared to the revenue of £816.5 million in the same period of prior fiscal.
