Sustainably Yours Ltd. has launched its environmentally friendly leather products brand SANDLUND/HOSSAIN.
Bangladeshi civil aviation and tourism minister Mr Rashed Khan Menon MP inaugurated the brand in a ceremony at the Nordic Club, Gulshan in the presence of Ambassador of Sweden in Bangladesh H.E. Johan Frisell, the Ambassador of Demark in Bangladesh H.E Hanne Fugl Eskjær, Swedish Bark tanner Jan Sandlund, Chairman of Sustainably Yours Ltd. Anders Sandlund, managing director Imrul Ahmed Tulin and product manager Mohsina Manjur Flora.
Sustainably Yours Ltd. will produce high-quality eco-friendly leather products in Bangladesh using a 1,000-year-old tanning method and the leather products will be sold in international market under the brand name SANDLUND/HOSSAIN.
In three years the brand intends to establish the world’s most environmentally friendly leather and leather goods production chain with its own cow farm, jungle tannery, product factory and bio gas plant in Bagatipara Upazilla of Natore creating 1,000 jobs in the rural area.
