US-based GST AutoLeather Inc., a leading global supplier of quality automotive leather interior trim, has announced the appointment of Armin Dieckmann as managing director and VP Europe of subsidiary Seton AutoLeather GmbH, GST’s European headquarters, effective 1 November.

With a combined workforce of about 1,250, the European company has production facilities in Germany and Hungary, and in his new role, Dieckmann will be responsible for all business operations in Europe and support the company’s European customers around the world.

Dieckmann has a 20 years’ experience at many leading automotive supplier companies, making him very well respected in the field. He was most recently VP of sales and business development for seat covers and fabrics at Johnson Controls Inc., a global provider of automotive interior systems. He also had leadership positions at Continental Automotive AG and Siemens VDO AG, and at Seton he’ll spearhead the company’s business growth strategy in the European market.
