Netherlands-based chemical specialists Stahl announced it has renewed its management team, which reflects the expansion of its business. Due to its recent acquisition of Clariant’s Leather Services Business, Stahl, known for its leather products and performance coatings, now services the entire leather processing chain.

Stahl’s renewed management team is headed by Huub van Beijeren, who joined Stahl as CEO in 2007, and also includes two former managers of the Clariant Leather Services Business, Harald Bauer and Ralph Blach.
‘Innovation towards a more sustainable future’ will be the management’s priority in the coming period. And as Stahl will now service the entire leather processing chain, the company will be even more committed to accelerate processes to make the entire leather processing chain more sustainable.

With more than 1,800 employees at 11 manufacturing sites and 38 laboratories in 23 countries, Stahl is expected to realise an annual turnover of over €600 million. "Thanks to the acquisition, we have become the leading market player in chemicals for leather products in terms of knowledge, expertise and range of technical solutions," said van Beijeren. "As we expand our market and product coverage, we are able to boost our innovation power, sustainability expertise and service levels. This enables us to respond even better to our clients’ needs."
