The plant’s main purpose is to develop formulations on customer demand. In addition, leather testing will be offered and training and symposia held on the site.
Dr Martin Haberl, president of Zschimmer & Schwarz Germany, highlighted the sustained momentum of the Chinese economy in his speech and expressed his wish for intensive use of the leather lab in the future. Boris Fleig, director of the leather auxiliaries division of Z&S, presented an overview of the company’s activities in China of the past ten years, which have been very successful. Fleig emphasised the fact that the new pilot plant, further enhances the company’s ability to serve the Chinese market.
